Offered ProgramS

At JEMs, more then the Bar Mitzvah boy simply learning to read a section from the Torah, this momentous occasion in the life of a boy is developed into a positive and meaningful experience for the whole family.

Children from Public school, Jewish Schools and Private Non-Jewish Schools join together for the experience developing friendships and a sense of community feel with those outside their immediate social circle.

At JEMs, we strongly believe that a Bar Mitzvah should not simply be a preparation for a ceremony. Instead, it is an opportunity for the Bar Mitzvah boy to explore hisgrowth into Jewish manhood, and their place within Judaism.

As one mold will not fit every individual, our program is offered in three individual components:

  1. Bar Mitzvah Discovery Course
  2. Torah Reading Preparation
  3. Ceremony Help
